Singer Ikuforiji Olaitan, popularly known as Oxlade, recently shared intriguing insights about his colleague Odumodublvck’s journey in the music industry.

According to him, Odumodublvck has been navigating the music scene for quite some time without achieving widespread stardom. Interestingly, Oxlade revealed that Odumodublvck initially started as a manager before eventually gaining recognition as an artist.

During an interview on the Afrobeats Intelligence show with Joey Akan, Oxlade reminisced about tweeting about the rapper back in 2019 during the first block party. This highlights Oxlade’s observant and supportive nature towards fellow artists, as he acknowledges and respects their respective paths to success.

Describing himself as an “industry baby,” he emphasized his role as an insider who has witnessed and appreciates the journeys of other artists within the industry.

He said: “Small Doctor men don dey mount before men believe say dem dey mount. Vector, Falz, there are even new generation people, Psych0 YP, Odumodublvck. There are people that have been holding this thing before they even got their recognition.

“Odumodu has been in this game, [Joey; ‘For Over 10 years] as a manager first of all. I tweeted Odumodu in 2019, first block party, Alhaji Popping can testify.”
