Serie A: Shevchenko Sets to Bring Chelsea’s Pulisic to Genoa

Genoa coach, Andriy Shevchenko has named Chelsea winger, Christian Pulisic as his potential signing.

The 45-year-old succeeded the former Genoa coach, Davide Ballardini who was fired on Saturday.

Ballardini who was appointed in December last year was sacked on the 6th of November following negative results in the 2021–22 Serie A season.

The former Ukraine manager now shows his readiness to sign Captain America in the January transfer window.

Pulisic sealed a move to Stamford Bridge from Borussia Dortmund and has borne a mixed spell since joining the club in 2019.

The 23-year-old has won the apex trophy in Europe (Champions League) with Chelsea.

He also helped the US to the final of the 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup and has won a U.S. Soccer Young Male Athlete of the Year award and two U.S. Soccer Male Athlete of the Year awards.

After 1 win, 5 defeats, and 6 draws so far,  the Old Fool is found one place above the relegation zone in the Serie A table.

The former Chelsea star will therefore fall into action on the 21st of this month when his team will take on Jose Mourinho’s men.
