UCL: Peter Crouch Reacts as Salah Breaks His record in Liverpool’s 2-0 Win Over Inter

Former Liverpool striker, Peter Crouch, has reacted as Mohamed Salah smashed his record during Liverpool’s 2-0 victory against Inter Milan on Wednesday, 16th.

The 41-year-old striker lauded the Egypt captain for a job well done after the victory against La Beneamata.

The English striker so reacted via a tweet on his Twitter handle.

The Reds humiliated Simeone Inzaghi’s side in the first leg of the round of 16 of the Champions League fixture which held at Giuseppe Meazza last night.

The former Roma star, Salah and the Brazilian striker, Roberto Firmino scored the goals for Liverpool.

Meanwhile, Salah’s goal levelled a record that has so long been set by ex-Tottenham Hotspur star, Crouch.

Salah becomes the second footballer to register goals against the duo of AC Milan and Inter Milan in the Champions League in one season after Crouch in 2010/2011 season while in Tottenham.

Crouch reacted: “That was the record he wanted. Well done Mo you should be so proud.”
