A youth leader, Comrade Zikurebai Oyinkuro Wazo, has called for increased synergy in the Ijaw Youth Council worldwide (IYC)
Wazo, who is the the Secretary of Ijaw Youths Council (IYC) Gbaramatu Clan said this while extending New Year greetings to the apex Ijaw youth body.
Expressing gratitude to all who celebrated with him on his birth anniversary, the youth leader called to mind that the reasons for which Council was founded must always be prioritized.
He said;

“On behalf of my family and the good people of Ogbe-Ijoh, Gbaramatu and Ogulagha kingdoms respectively, i want to sincerely Thank GOD ALMIGHTY, and extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone that took out time to wish and celebrate my birth anniversary on January 6, 2024.
“May God in his infinite and immeasurable mercies and power bless us all.
“I fervently appreciate the President of the 9th National Executive Council, Sir Jonathan Lokpobiri and his Spokesman, Amb. Binebai Yerin Princwell in whom I am well pleased with.

“Before we travel far into the New Year, it is expedient that I reiterate some important things we need to give utmost attention to.
– We must believe in the principles of why IYC was found.
-We most embrace the existing principles of IYC.
– We most individually and collectively Solve the Problems facing Ijaw Nation and Nigeria.
I plead with all ijaw youths, to come in synergy to work with the 9th NEC of Council, ensuring that Ijaw nation takes her place in Nigeria and the world at large.
We can only achieve this if we work collectively in synergy.
